		<description><![CDATA[Cancer is Her Calling by Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 6:15pm   Rosy Weisberg, LCSW, was named Social Worker of the Year for 2010  A bright yellow &#8220;I &#60;3 MY JOB&#8221; sign hangs proudly above the desk of Rosy Weisberg, LCSW. It&#8217;s true. Rosy, who works with cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy at Sylvester, was named Social Worker of the Year for 2010 by the Florida Society of Oncology Social Workers.  &#8221;It was a really nice surprise,&#8221; she says. &#8220;I really like working here. I love my job.&#8221;  Rosy has devoted her career to serving the English- and Spanish-speaking communities in South Florida, assisting patients and their families with everything from counseling to lodging to advance directives. She has worked in oncology social work for more than 15 years, and she is very involved with the American Cancer Society as a recruiter, program spokesperson, and volunteer.  Cancer is something that no one expects, so it&#8217;s critical for patients to have someone help them navigate the maze of decisions and emotions, and to offer support during this challenging time. 		<description><![CDATA[CURRENT WORDING: ARTICLE VI &#8211; EXECUTIVE BOARD, COMMITTEES, LIAISONS, AND REGIONAL COORDINATORS Section 1. Executive Board The Executive Board shall be composed of all elected officers, appointed chairpersons of standing committees, and the immediate Past-President in the second year of the President’s term of office. The executive Board shall manage the business and affairs of FSOSW. Meetings shall be held at such times and place as determined necessary.  Sixty percent (60%) of the Board will constitute a quorum for transaction of business. Section 2.  Standing and Special Committees Unless specified otherwise in these bylaws, the Executive Board shall appoint all standing and special committees.  The Executive Board shall determine the composition, terms, powers, and duties of all committees.  The President or designee shall be an ex officio member of all committees except the Nominating Committee.
