		<description><![CDATA[CURRENT WORDING: ARTICLE VI &#8211; EXECUTIVE BOARD, COMMITTEES, LIAISONS, AND REGIONAL COORDINATORS Section 1. Executive Board The Executive Board shall be composed of all elected officers, appointed chairpersons of standing committees, and the immediate Past-President in the second year of the President’s term of office. The executive Board shall manage the business and affairs of FSOSW. Meetings shall be held at such times and place as determined necessary.  Sixty percent (60%) of the Board will constitute a quorum for transaction of business. Section 2.  Standing and Special Committees Unless specified otherwise in these bylaws, the Executive Board shall appoint all standing and special committees.  The Executive Board shall determine the composition, terms, powers, and duties of all committees.  The President or designee shall be an ex officio member of all committees except the Nominating Committee. Section 3.  Liaisons The President as deemed necessary shall appoint liaisons.  Such liaisons shall function under the guidance of the Executive Board. Section 4.  Regional Coordinators The President-Elect or Past-President shall recruit regional Coordinators from each of the geographic regions in the state. 		<description><![CDATA[Aventura Comprehensive Cancer Center 20950 NE 27th Ct. Aventura, FL Third Monday each month 4:00 p.m.  – 5:00 p.m.  Beginning Monday, February 15, 2010 Aventura Comprehensive Cancer Center (ACCC) and The Leukemia &#38; Lymphoma Society have partnered to conduct a monthly support group for: leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma patients and their caregivers.  The professional facilitators from ACCC will be Phil Fusca, MSW, Cancer Care Navigator, and Michelle Zimmerman, RN, Charge Nurse &#8211; Med/Surg.   This free group will address specific issues related to a blood cancer diagnosis and will provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss: concerns, anxieties, feelings related to illness &#38; treatment, and other related issues.   Pre Registration is Required.    To register and/or for questions, grievances, or assistance for individuals with disabilities, please contact Phil Fusca, MSW, at (305) 682-2151, or email Phil.Fusca@hcahealthcare.com]]></description>
