 Psychosocial and Wellness Administrator

University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute (UFPTI), located in Jacksonville, Florida, has an immediate opening for a Psychosocial and Wellness Administrator. This unique, high profile position is responsible for creating and implementing UFPTI’s psychosocial programs focused on the needs of our patients (pediatric to adult); creating a community culture where patients and families can support each other; and providing direction and operational expertise in order to address and reduce patient anxiety and stress. High level of community involvement required in order to identify resources for patients. Qualified candidates must have five or more years of experience directing psychosocial services in a health care setting; a master’s degree in a psychosocial based discipline; solid knowledge of clinical social work practice in a radiation oncology environment; above average speaking and motivational skills; and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
