FSOSW Social Worker Of The Year

The Oncology Social Worker of the Year Award was established to provide an annual opportunity to recognize an exceptional member of FSOSW. The award is presented to an Oncology Social Worker who, in the day-to-day delivery of compassionate service, is a model for the profession itself. The individual should be a full member in good standing of the Florida Society of Oncology Social Workers. In addition to having qualifications such as personal and professional integrity, this individual should effectively advocate for programs and policies to meet the psychosocial needs of oncology patients. He or she should be able to relate and work effectively within the multidisciplinary team and contribute to the public knowledge of Oncology Social Work.
